Oberon Land

Oberon is 1200 metres above sea level and is regarded as the ideal cold climate country, perfect for British breed varieties of meat producing sheep. Rich basalt soil and high rainfall levels produce lush green pastures, allowing the finishing of livestock all year round. Stock drinks from natural occurring spring water.

Currently 300 acres of lucerne is being sown on the rich river flats.

Lahood and Son currently runs a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) program to ensure quality, cleanliness and hygiene. On-site refrigerated store rooms maintain freshness through isolation and temperature control. All fresh food products are prepared and packed on the day of delivery to our customers.
